Empowering Parents and Advocating for their Child’s Future
I am here to assist parents in securing the services their child needs through the Individualized Education Plan (IEP) process.
My mission is to empower parents with knowledge, advocate for their child’s rights, and ensure that every student receives the education and support they deserve.
Advocacy & Parent Guidance
Guiding Hands IEP is more than just an advocacy service—it is a tool of knowledge and experience to empower parents and secure a better future for children with disabilities.
Through compassionate support and expert guidance, I aim to be the go-to resource for families navigating the special education system.
"Because Every Child Deserves to Thrive"
What is an IEP?
An Individualized Education Plan (IEP) is a legally binding document designed to support children with disabilities in receiving the specialized education and services they need to succeed in school. It outlines a child’s unique learning needs, goals, and the accommodations or modifications required to help them thrive.
The IEP is developed through a team process, including parents, teachers, school staff, and specialists, ensuring that the child receives personalized support tailored to their strengths and challenges. Understanding your rights and the IEP process is essential in advocating for your child’s future.
ELIGIBILITY
In order to have an IEP, the student must be found eligible under one or more of the following categories . . . .

• Other Health Impairment (OHI) -ex: ADHD
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (AUT)
